Asked Christine what she thought of my UX for what happens when there's such a high ratio between number of glyphs and number of bytes it causes a problem with ATProto. My test for this was to paste long strings of the shrugging woman emoji ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐คทโโ๏ธ but what Christine got hung up on is that if you paste a line of ๐คทโโ๏ธs into an <input> or <textarea> in Firefox then delete them one character at a time, you delete the woman's gender before you delete her herself, causing her shirt to flash briefly red
