I asked someone at the studio what i should do next. They suggested something tall with a narrow neck. So here's my first take. I have some other ideas to try as well…

a tall cylindrical vase with straight walls up to a sharp angle in, then sharply angle back out to a horizontal flared rim nearly the same diameter as the cylinder - still wet on the wheel with splattered clay and tools around

two of these vases on a ware board to dry - the second a bit more crisp than the first, slightly narrower neck and wider flare, but otherwise nearly identical in shape and dimensions
