PSA for MastoAdmins:

Did you know that Mastodon now has the ability to fetch missing replies from conversations?

Unfortunately you must enable this yourself by adding FETCH_REPLIES_ENABLED=true to your .env.production file.

So if you have updated your server to v4.4, you should seriously consider opting into this behaviour. Your users will thank you!
