Don't we have overwhelming evidence that rewriting existing C++ code doesn't lead to measurable software quality improvement? As someone already wrote, the best case scenario here is a bunch of peeps at Microsoft will get promo packages but I fear the more realistic scenario is a significant number of regressions introduced by RiiR insanity.
