There's something darkly ironic about the fact that IPP Everywhere being so broadly supported means that printers do now Just Work with Linux but also that's come at the cost of the printer vendors that previously had Free drivers instead embedding them into proprietary firmware that nobody other than the vendor can touch and huh if only there was some sort of origin story about this
