Question: How big is the number of persons in your country who would donate 1% of their income to fight global warming?
Answer: Much bigger than you think.

A recent global survey (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41558-024-01925-3.pdf) found that in all surveyed countries, people estimate the number of people who support climate action too low, usually about 2/3 of the real number. And 89% of the population worldwide want stronger action to fight the climate crisis (https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2025/apr/22/activate-climate-silent-majority-support-supercharge-action).
