Hey astronomers, I have a question.
Let's say I'm on a planet in a solar system. Does it matter to my living conditions if I'm in a neat, undisturbed galaxy or in one that is messed up by interaction with neighbours?

Total spannende Frage. Geht da im Grunde um Größenskalen. Kollisionen etc wirbeln Galaxien durcheinander. Aber ein Sonnensystem ist winzigim Vergleich zu den gestörten Strukturen.
