Today I figured out that you can ladder down selvedge stitches. I was incorrectly purling the selvedge stitches on the wrong side rows which messed up the nice slipped stitch edge. I just unzipped that column of stitches, flipped them around, and pulled them back up with a crochet hook. A little loose but otherwise all fixed.
