Look at this gem of the past I just watched from CBC, 1995! This was in my YouTube Recommended algorithm today.

It features a young @pluralisticCory Doctorow extolling the virtues of the Internet. Among other things, he warned people about not getting sucked into online arguments and predicted online video services killing traditional television. I particularly like how he described solo use vs. social Internet use.

This was two years before I got on the Internet in 1997.
