if you’re ever designing a programming language, need some syntax for a new construct, and instinctively start looking at your keyboard for a funny special character you haven’t used yet …

no. stop. bad. this way lies madness. and hellish backtracking in parsers when you inevitably reuse something because “how hard can it be”.
