Some are commenting that this isn't enough, it's not impressive, etc. Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
I'm all for corporations doing more commensurate with their earnings and benefits they get. But regardless of Anthropic's size and our ideas of what they could have given, this investment makes a huge difference to the PSF and should be applauded.

🤔 $750k per year for two years, plus roughly $590k over the PSF’s current Visionary tier. That is a big win for the PSF.
It is probably time to raise the ceiling on sponsorship tiers,

If a $3B/year company can show up like this, then $385B, $281B, and $190B companies, all running at 30%+ profit margins, should be able to as well.
