Dilemma:

As a user, I only want to use native apps on Apple hardware, and to get those apps through the official app stores on those platforms (not because they are good, but because everything else is worse*)

As a developer I am less and less happy to be pouring all my efforts into those platforms as they become increasingly greedy, shoddy and developer-hostile

Suggestions?

(* this is my subjective opinion, I'm not interested in debating it because you prefer Linux or Android or whatever)
