a year ago, I told Experian about my name change and had them update it. it didn't seem to take—they kept deadnaming me in emails. but I was sick, so I couldn't really look into it.

finally did today. turns out: this account now has no credit, no debt, nothing. they *did* process my name change, just did not update my account itself, so they are effectively deadnaming me monthly in an email with *no useful information*.
