#dotnet #hiring we are in the process of trying to hire a "senior" software developer and have interviewed several candidates, 10-20y experience. As part of this we do a real live 2H coding task over a fairly simple but also low level threading task. Candidates are allowed to use google, chatgpt (not full vibe coding) during.

None have delivered anything comparable to ChatGPT, which can deliver something 90% done in 5 min.
