It doesn't matter whether the LLM can actually do the software dev tasks or not. The people in charge are batshit crazy about LLMs and are drinking too much Kool Aid. They believe it's a magic bullet and want to maximize their bottom line before everything crashes and goes to /dev/null. They don't care about environmental damages or job loss. Only psychopaths can sleep peacefully causing this much damages.
