This is a thread I use to keep track of some #Linux distros I've tried and rate them by

1) How easy they are to get into for ex-Windows users
2) How much extra setup they require to get to a system that works for the user i.e. so that one actually play DVDs and install proprietary drivers.
3) How well auto updates work, i.e. without user intervention.
