I'm slowly starting to get hyped about Daft Music for iOS. In hindsight, the idea to start with a strong desktop app and later come with a mobile version seems to work out.

The other way around feels way harder. Instead of adding features or limiting your desktop app to a featureset of a mobile app, it's mostly reusing or maybe cutting down things.

And even if you cut down, you’ve got the luxury that the CloudKit syncing takes care of the rest.
