I want to note, though, that even with all of this enthusiasm, the PSF is still not as funded as it would have been if they’d compromised their mission and taken the bestringed money offered by the NSF. This is good energy, to get grassroots funding to happen, but we *need* corporate sponsorships to step up commensurate with how much they gain from the Python ecosystem.
