I am looking for a lightweight solution to filesharing that isn't a complete NextCloud install, but does allow some granular user access control. A wiki filedump is too simple. So something inbetween, ideally with encryption at rest and some sort of self-registration / delegatable rights management.

So far the most promising I have found but that didn't hit all marks is https://docs.projectsend.org/

Does anyone have practical experience with this tool? Any other suggestions for a solution?
