According to this essay (see link), neoliberalism is impoverishing us and homogenising us to such an extent that all we are left to do is preserve our identity.
At the same time, we are navigating an (economic) system that shuns uncertainty (and science) and provokes a strong hatred of the distinct, even a fear of it.
Trump, Putin, Musk and Bezos all contribute to this loss of identity, horizon, and health, generating hatred.
