In the moment, I found this annoying. But LLMs are just machines, tools.

I think there's a ton of value to be derived still from people using these tools responsibly.

I'm glad to be reminded of the limits of them.

And tools must be wielded someone. So that means....

We still have jobs, yo!

I have run into similar drifting. Between python package managers.

Starting a project in Python with `uv`. After getting the project directory configured for `uv` i find that `gemini` keeps trying to steer me back to `poetry`.

Probably because it was trained on a bunch of projects that used `poetry`.

Future innovative work will be hampered because the LLMs don't know about it. LLMs will be the old crotchety guy in IT that doesn't want to try anything new.
