Took a break from continuous Ratatouille, because I wanted to try this unagi sushi sauce with summer squashes and eggplant. *yum* 😋👍 It went well with a bowl of rice.

Big slices of fried summer squash, zucchini, eggplant, portobello and deep-fried tofu triangles—seasoned with the unagi sushi sauce—are artfully arranged on the white dinner bowl, garnished with fresh cilantro. Also seen on the placemat are the glass of lemon water and the porcelain bunny hashi-oki.
