An incomplete jigsaw puzzle - 1000 pieces total. Maybe 40% of the pieces are in place. The ones that are put together show a high-vaulted ceiling, polished wooden floors, and some columns. What’s distinctly missing in the solution - given the end result is a library - is all the shelves of books.

Those bookshelf pieces are strewn around the outside of the puzzle. There are a considerable number of them.
