Our vehicle is over 23 years old. I dread when we reach its EOL. The newer models have so many electronics, so connected, etc. We don't want that. We don't want to rely on components that rely on OTA software updates, subscription maintenance fees, accessories that are packaged in subscriptions, etc.

Seriously considering doing an EV conversion without all the car manufacturer's lock in with an older vehicle.
