I'm convinced something's not right with suspend/resume. Does mate-power-manager conflict with elogind? I do have:

[Login]
HandleLidSwitch=ignore

in /etc/elogind/logind.conf

It seems to start the freeze for sleep process, but then the laptop actually sleeps before it finishes those processes, do when you wake it back up, it's killed the WiFi after it resumes then after a minute or two, fixes itself.

Anyone know how to fix this? Nothing meaningful in /var/log/messages, sadly.
