가나자와는 작은 교토라는 별명에 어울리게 전통적인 분위기가 짙다. 개항 이전까지 번영하던 도시가 곱게 자신을 지키고 있는 느낌이 좋다. 음식도 맛있고.

한국에서 교통편이 애매한게 여행지로서 거의 유일한 단점.
