So, you may have seen that viral screenshot of Copilot in Excel summing 1, 2, 3 as 15. I am pretty sure it is faked.

I am a certified shoving-AI-in-our-things hater. I am also a librarian who, for my sins, uses Excel regularly. I shall lay out my proposal below. I will then mute this thread because I don't want to engage with AI boosters or anyone questioning whether I'm secretly a copilot lover (barf)

The claim:

Screenshot of a tweet by Zack Korman saying Copilot in Excel is a global financial crisis waiting to happen. The column A contains 1, 2, and 3 in what are apparently rows 1, 2, and 3. The function is =COPILOT("sum the numbers above") and the result is 15.
