Anna Leska #Polish pilot, flew #gliders #balloons & #aeroplanes. #WWII 1939 flew RWD-13 plane out of Warsaw in middle of air raid. Polish aircraft had been hidden in the surrounding forests to protect the fleet from attack, instructed to take off without warming up engine.
