well, they've been manipulated, conned, *strongarmed* into "wanting" that crap, at best.

it's superficially shiny, I'll grant that.

and billions of VC are spent to market it as "unavoidable" and "the future".

that's *not* an argument in favour of putting even more of it everywhere.

"because it's a trend" is amongst the worst kinds of circular arguments.
