Something I absolutely love about some Wikipedia editors is how they can at times completely forget how much they know about a subject relative to the average reader. In an article about clothing in an ancient civilisation. We get this little gem:

"It also had a visible lower border, called instita (or in non-technical language a limbus)."

Limbus as a term relating to clothing construction is an everyday term the average lay person can of course be expected to know...
