Last spring, I organized what I thought would be the programming event of the year: a search algorithm competition.

I spent weeks crafting a series of challenging problems.

I secured funding for prizes, designed a dedicated website with registration forms, and distributed flyers across campus bulletin boards and coffee shops. I even convinced three industry veterans to judge the submissions.
