People almost never recognize the fallacy at play here:
- Softbank invested $18B in WeWork in total
- Microsoft invested $100B in Bing over the years
- Meta invested $65B in AI just in 2025

That's just the labor theory of value.

Spending a lot of money means a lot of human labor on something. And it has never meant that it's automatically good.

Sudden, large amounts of money often implies mal-investment. Or stated more bluntly, we're wasting people's lives many times with this stuff.
