Gall's Law: A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.

This law is a big reason I'm intensively suspicious of anyone who claims they started with microservices from the beginning.

Why tho? You just made the problem harder on yourself.

Start simple. Add complexity only when necessary.
