Bad meeting archetypes, meh to madness

"Special announcements": a sudden meeting is called with everyone in the company to relay information in 15min that could have been an email.

“It’s on the Calendar": no one remembers why this meeting exists but we all show up anyhow and spend at least 5 minutes chatting, but usually we use the entire allotted time.

“Standup retro”: the 5 min daily stand up that routinely becomes a rehashing of yesterday’s decisions over 30 min.
