Recently read Kent Beck's "Tidy First?".

I liked the overall narrative arc. This is a bit unusual in programming books.

I particularly enjoyed the discussion of NPV and options in relationship to tidying up code

I was annoyed when as I got to the end it basically started to do the tease of "there's another book coming to talk about this topic". (Not an exact quote.)

I wish he'd actually paid off his ragging on code reviews to give his take.
