I think this year really will be the year of the Linux Desktop.

And as I look around at friends and peers over the last 12 months that are still on Windows, the number that has switched or talked about switching has "exploded". It's easily 10 people.

2 years ago that was 0. 18 months ago. That was 0.

I gave a new machine to my son over the summer with a NUC on it.

I'm planning to wipe my last Windows machine soon.
