The OS-level age verification thing actually makes me feel ill

Not because technology or the Internet is safe, but because this admits a new era of "your device belongs to someone other than you"

It felt like organizations like the EFF et. al. were a lot more effective against this stuff in the past. Maybe I should be doing more, even with all the other things in life
