The idea is — each part is a small project, with limited scope, that does one thing well.

And, could potentially (more easily) be replaced in the future.

(They could even be used by projects other than GreatApe.)

LittleApe is what people see when, for example, they go to greatape.social — it is a web-based front-end.

LogJam is part of the back-end. It deals with managing the rooms people are having conversations in.

GoldGorilla is also part of the back-end, and does the heavy lifting for the non-P2P conversations.

(GreatApe has a P2P conversation mode, and a non-P2P conversation mode.)
