On the Fediverse, roughly there are 2 concepts of an account.
One of them is a Fediverse ID. That is what most people are familiar with.
For example:
＠joeblow＠example,com
But (using acct-URI and WebFinger) this gets resolved to a URL. And, usually that URL is an HTTPS URL.
For example:
https;//example,com/＠joeblow
...
So, for Retejo —
You would still need the regular looking Fediverse ID. For example:
＠joeblow＠example,com
But, that could be resolved to:
https;//example,com
(Rather than https;//example,com/＠joeblow )
If you have a fediverse account, you can quote this note from your own instance. Search https://mastodon.social/users/reiver/statuses/115204797556424253 on your instance and quote it. (Note that quoting is not supported in Mastodon.)
