Organizers Log:

I just talked to someone at SFU (Simon Fraser University) about trying to find a location for FediCon 2026.

He is a friend-of-a-friend.

We talked about what we would need for FediCon, in terms of a location, etc.

He needs to ask around (internally at SFU).

Hopefully, can get more details this or next week.

Organizers Log: I have been looking for a new location for FediCon 2026. The location we used for FediCon 2025 is very nice — but also very expensive. (I paid for it out of my own pocket.) I am trying to find a new location that is either less expensive or, if possible, free. I'd like to try to keep the ticket prices low. And, one of the biggest things that goes into the ticket price is the cost of the location #FediCon #FediCon2026 #Fediverse
