@evanEvan Prodromou I am against vibecoding from a software engineering perspective, I don't believe the tools allow for a removal of the human of the loop.
I have nothing against people using LLMs as a fancy autocomplete (except maybe for energy pollution concerns but that is not specific to only LLMs).
Hence vibefed gives me bad vibes.

It doesn't matter whether you, or I, or anyone else dislike vibe-coding or not — it is happening.
I think it is better to try to help them. Most of the people to who responded to my poll agreed.
I know some disagree. But, I chose to help them.
I'd rather welcome them to the Fediverse, too.

I welcome this, actually. But as with all "vibe coded" software needs scrutiny, QA, and quality testing. But I have hope that this will bring some innovation and empowering smaller developers making great apps.
(And the lesser quality or insecure ones will become pretty clearly seen as such and ignored)
