What I do use ChatGPT for extensively is translation-adjacent queries. When reading in a non-native language, I like to query explanations of grammatical constructs that I'm uncertain about. I also sometimes use it to proofread my non-native writing. One of the big selling points is that I can more easily give it out of band context than would be possible in Google Translate.

I do occasionally catch it making errors, but I still find it worthwhile.
