Alex Pretti, Renรฉe Good, ICE, Murder

To those of you who view empathy as a weakness or simply don't feel it, yesterday was devastating for people who carry the weight of others. We are mourning people we never met because they are our neighbors, and our government is killing us for simply existing.

If you cannot find empathy for those under the heel of ICE in Minneapolis, look at the facts. Alex Pretti was an ICU nurse. He was a healthcare worker exercising his right to lawfully carry a firearm. While helping a woman, he was pepper-sprayed and beaten by six men.

He didn't have a weapon drawn, he had a camera pointed at ICE. He was doing nothing wrong. This is not just about "them," this could be any of us. If this doesn't stir something in your gut, you need to ask yourself why.
