@rikiwilchins.bsky.socialRiki Wilchins For purposes of comparison, we lost ~50k soldiers in Vietnam over 8 years out of a pop of ~200m. Russia is has a pop of <150m and it looses nearly that many EVERY MONTH. This is the historical juncture Trump has chosen to all but tear up NATO.
