Among all the things one can overthink about keyboards, a sensitive thing for me is the length of my nails when I type. I always type with the tip of my fingers, not so much the "part where fingerprints are taken", so to say.

Any time my nails achieve a certain long enough length, I am subconsciously annoyed. More than any suboptimal layout, sound, or keycap material. I heard piano players pay special attention to their nail length, but never wondered about computer touchers before.
