It's probably a long shot, but do any of you know what a trebuchet is?

Trebuchet: ‚tres‘ - three and ‚bouche‘ - mouth, so it means ‚three mouths‘. It is a emoji :-))) which for some reason was very popular in the 12/13th century in Europe and led to the great unicode schism of 1273. Historians are not sure what it means.
