Growing up in the 90s, the CND / world peace / remembrance, "never again" / anti-war messaging all seemed sort of.. hackneyed? Obvious? Like duh, war is bad? Of course we want world peace?

Now I'm like, ohhhh.

Now I'm living in these somewhat tense times, where people definitely do need to protest, to ram that point home, or sing and make art, to get the message out or try to quell the existential angst.

Some of these old songs that seemed quaint, have lyrics that now give me chills.
