Ugghhh. Just searched for kids' Police toy sets out of curiosity, because my youngest is very interested in the whole cops and robbers thing right now - but urrrggghh they're full of violent weaponry.

One set event looked like a SWAT style outfit. Grim.

Any parents successfully redirected such an interest away from the "bang bang let's shoot the thief" side of things?
