Tomorrow is the last day of Shrovetide.

(I'm not really Christian any more but I enjoy the traditions and stories and think Jesus was a radical lefty and was worth paying heed to!)

Many Christian communities do something over this time - they're either partying (Carnival, Fasching, Mardi Gras), going to confessionals, and/or using up all their stores of tasty foods and drinks ready for Lent.

The Brits do this by making pancakes - Shrove Tuesday is pancake day! Enjoy!
