Sorry if my thoughts stray from your very moving personal discourse on choosing to be yourself.

Something that has come up in conversation too often in what interactions I have with offline life is people, loose friends of mine, I guess, who are explicitly trying-to-get-money-by-being-tricky. I don't think most of them can be blamed: it's exactly what 99% of people who advise them are telling them to do. The 99% advisors seem to be panicking and just saying "get money" to others.
